PINE BUSH – At the Town of Crawford Planning Board Meeting on January 14, the board members voted unanimously for Eileen Kelly to continue as Vice Chairperson.

The next day, at the Town of Crawford Town Board Meeting, the board voted 4-0, with Supervisor Carnes abstaining, to appoint Linda Zwart in Kelly's place.

Eileen Kelly had completed her term of office. She had been on the Planning Board for 9 years and was regarded as a sometimes stubborn defender of the Town's Master Plan.

Linda Zwart has most recently been a member of the Town of Crawford Architectural Review Board.

The town board appoints planning board members and interviews were conducted in December by the Town Board. Kelly was among those who were interviewed.
