Ellenville Wins First Ever MHAL Track and Field Championship

KINGSTON – On Thursday, May 22, the Ellenville High School Boys' Track and Field Team overcame brutally hot and humid weather and emerged victorious at the MHAL Championship Meet. The team scored 109.5 points and finished on top of the 16 team field. Considering the schools in the league have quite different enrollment numbers, the MHAL has been dominated by bigger schools like Wallkill and perennial track and field powerhouse Onteora. The Blue Devils are now only the fifth team to win the league meet in approximately the last 15 years. Runner up to the Blue Devils was Red Hook High School who finished with 94.5 points.   > MORE
