Ulloa Fights the Law and...
STONE RIDGE – Richard Ulloa, the Stone Ridge resident currently embroiled in a war of paperwork with Ulster County, several municipalities, and their employees, feels that he is the victim, not the officials who have filed a federal racketeering complaint against him. These same officials — which include a Rosendale Town Justice, an Ulster County Assistant District Attorney, the Ulster County Clerk, and a host of other county and town officials — jointly filed the complaint against Ulloa after he filed dozens of liens against them, amounting in total to more than $100 billion.
The whole thing started with something that was, by all appearances, a simple traffic stop. Ulloa was pulled over by a Town of Rosendale Police Officer on May 13, 2009, during which the officer ran the license plate number of the vehicle. The officer then discovered that the owner of this car had a suspended license. Ulloa, however, was not the owner, and had in fact borrowed the car from the man in question in order to pick up his three dogs at an animal grooming business on Main Street in Rosendale. > MORE
